Why buildings start looking for a Parkonic alternative
Nobody replaces a working parking system without a good reason. The reasons we hear are pretty consistent:

Most traditional parking systems are sold as a box that the customer needs to fit into. You get the product, you get the process that comes with it, and your operation adjusts around both.

The cash side is very important in the GCC. A lot of newer parking platforms are built app-first and treat cash as an afterthought. If your car park serves walk-up traffic, that gap shows up in your revenue every single day.

Say you want to charge 10 dirhams up to 6pm, and 15 dirhams after 6pm. That’s a simple configuration in the Entry2Exit dashboard yourself or your team can do. But we also provide technical support whenever needed.

This is one of the features clients ask about most, and it works without a ticket or a stamp:
- The customer gives their plate number at the bill desk
- The receptionist validates free parking against that plate number
- The car reaches the exit, the ANPR camera reads the plate, and the barrier opens automatically with no payment step
It is that simple.
Multi-tenant parking for towers and gated communities
Where there’s shared parking, a corporate office, a gated community, a mixed-use tower, Entry2Exit handles bay allocation per tenant.
Barriers open automatically for allocated vehicles. Everyone else doesn’t.
The part clients tend to like most is that the building’s own admin invites and adds those users directly. It’s self-customisable and self-configurable, so you don’t need much from the technical support side to keep it running.
Integrations: your hardware, and everything else you run
ANPR cameras. We already integrate with the major names in the market, including Hikvision, Dahua, ISS, SSK and others.
Barriers. BFT, Nice, Came and more.
Which usually means if you have existing cameras and barriers, they are most likely to be able to use with Entry2Exit. That removes the single biggest cost objection in any parking system switch.
Software. This is where a lot of our clients have unusual requirements, and it’s the work we’re strongest at. ERP systems, access control, visitor management, and other third-party systems on request. If it has an API, we can generally get Entry2Exit parking talking to it.
When Parkonic is the better choice
Worth being straight about this, because it’s true and it’ll save you time.
Go with an operator like Parkonic if:
- You want parking fully outsourced, including staffing and revenue operations, with no internal ownership at all
- You’re running a public or municipal on-street project, where the operator-led route is the established one
- You have no internal team to administer a parking system and no plans to build one

Common questions
Is Parkonic a parking operator or parking software?
Parkonic operates as a parking operator with its own proprietary platform, which means the provider runs the parking operation on your behalf. Entry2Exit is software you run yourself, which is the main structural difference between the two.
Can I keep my existing ANPR cameras and barriers if I switch?
In most cases, yes. Entry2Exit integrates with Dahua, ISS, SSK and other major ANPR brands, and with barriers including BFT, Nice and KME. We confirm compatibility during the site survey before anything gets committed.
Does Entry2Exit support cash payments?
Yes. Cash is handled through handheld devices, POS devices and cash tray integration, with receipt printing available on site. Digital methods run alongside it on the same system.
Can the system charge different rates at different times of day?
Yes. Time-based tariff bands are standard, so a rate of 10 dirhams before 6pm and 15 dirhams after 6pm is a configuration your team controls, not a development request. We call it Dynamic pricing.
How does shopping mall parking validation work without a ticket?
